This handcrafted stoneware bowl is a lesson in beautiful restraint. The exterior is left entirely as raw dark chocolate clay - smooth, matte, and warm to the touch. While the inside opens up to a deep, glossy Castile blue that spills just over the rim in a thin, electric line of color. You may notice a few small pinholes in the glaze - a common and harmless characteristic of handmade stoneware that does not affect its function or food safety as the clay is completely sealed with glaze.

Substantial and satisfying to hold, it's perfectly sized for soups, noodles, breakfast bowls, or anything you want to savor slowly. Of for a night stand, front entry way, etc! The contrast of unglazed and glazed surfaces is intentional and gorgeous.
